The Highlighting tool is found on the Home Tab. This feature is available in Word X for Mac on the main toolbar.
The highlighting tool allows you to change the colour of selected text, e.g. to indicate key concepts or highlight notes.
To use the Highlighter tool, select the text you want to highlight. Then click the Highlighter tool and choose a colour for highlighting.
